Hello Nairobi Kenya! Sankore is back with yet another edition of Pitch Competition Tour. The last PCT was held in one of Nairobi's leading tech spaces iHub, and was overwhelmingly attended by like-minded Kenyans with an interest in blockchain and technology. Contenders at the event graced the stage with mind-blowing blockchain solutions for Kenyan problems, institutions, companies and the government at large. 3 out of 10 brilliant projects qualified for funding and incubation, and are currently being nurtured. Sankore brings you another tech-filled edition of PCT in Nairobi, to scout for the next batch of projects that deserve finding and incubation.
Sankore Pitch Competition Tour is an exercise conducted by the blockchain community - Sankore, to scout for brilliant technology projects and ideas that need funding and incubation. At Sankore, we educate and nurture talented individuals to become world-class developers. The nurturing part of this mission involves funding and incubation projects that promise to contribute to providing blockchain solutions in Africa. The PCT therefore involves identifying developers and their projects for prospective funding and incubation.
This Pitch Competition Tour will be a second edition, aimed at bringing more talent on board. The first edition was held back on 22nd January at iHub Nairobi. Contenders in the event majorly comprised developers from Kenya's leading tech universities. Other contenders included developers from Kenyan startups that seek to provide tech solutions to emerging problems in Africa. The winning projects revolved around Agriculture, representing a sector in Kenya's economy that lags in technology. Who knows what this 2nd edition will hold? Join us to find out.
If you believe your technology idea promises to bring the much needed solutions to Kenya and Africa at large, you cannot afford to miss this chance to convince Sankore to incubate and fund your project.
